From working with a team of dedicated professionals to using innovative facilities, you'll have phenomenal resources to do something incredible â for yourself, and for others.What will you be doing in this role?As a Patient Mobility Specialist at Cedars-Sinai, you will take a leadership role in the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of education programs/projects related to Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM) initiatives for patients, personnel, and the community across the healthcare continuum. You will work closely with the nursing staff to implement and ensure the appropriate lifting techniques and machinery for patients are being applied. Your responsibilities will include providing education that is consistent with California legislative code AB 1136 for safe patient handling, as well as other relevant standards and guidelines.
