With over 115 locations in 24 states, our team of more than 1,900 employees serves over 42,000 patients.Job Summary: The Patient Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and the clinic property. They will monitor the clinic site, including exterior areas, to maintain a secure environment and respond to disturbances as needed. The Patient Monitor will uphold a compassionate and respectful approach while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Security:
- Monitor exterior doors, perimeter, and parking areas to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Oversee the dosing lobby until all patients have exited the building.
- Investigate disturbances, prepare incident reports, and notify management when necessary.
- Ensure security systems and equipment are operational and detect signs of tampering.
- Patient and Team Interaction:
- Demonstrate hope, respect, and caring in all interactions with patients and team members.
- Uphold the belief that addiction is a brain disease, not a moral failing.
- Professional Development and Training:
- Attend and complete all required training sessions.
- Commit to continual professional growth and development.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accrediting agency standards.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist with other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive working environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of facilities maintenance or security experience preferred.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong vision, hearing, and communication abilities to effectively perform job duties.
Working Conditions:
- Periods of high activity and workload.
- Must be able to walk and survey the premises for long durations.
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment.
