Several of them serve as chief of gastroenterology at nearby hospitals, and a number of them have been recognized as top-quality physicians in publications, including but not limited to: Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors New Jersey, and US News Health - US News & World Report.We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Patient Referral Specialist at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants of Albany New YorkThe Patient Referral Specialist Responsibilities are:
  • Respond to appointment request and make new appointments accordingly
  • Reschedule/cancel appointments
  • Review patients' electronic appointment requests
  • Knowledge of full scheduling process in order to assist the scheduling department as needed
  • Maintains professional and courteous demeanor at all times with patients, physicians and co-workers
  • Adhere to and support all policies and procedures of Albany Gastroenterology Consultants
  • Other job duties as assigned
The Patient Referral Specialist must have the following qualifications and experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of office processes and procedures acquired through three to five years of office experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with physicians and co-workers.
  • Position requires a flexible work schedule.
  • Strong organization and communication skills
