The Patient Refund Specialist is responsible for performing patient refunds for all OrthoLoneStar clinics. Other duties include:
- Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service
- Review patient accounts for patient refunds and process according to OrthoLoneStar policies
- Verify all refund requests utilizing all PMS systems
- Generate excel spreadsheets for accounting/Team Lead to distribute refunds correctly
- Review all Credit Card disputes and appeals timely
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of medical insurance terminology and payment posting
- Attention to detail needed
- Ability to multitask between multiple application
- Must have above-average communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
