Patient Registration Float Pool Team Member - Inova : Job Details

Job DescriptionInova Health is looking for a dedicated Patient Registration Team Member to join the Central Zone Float Pool team. This role will be required to travel to various hospitals and outpatient practices within the Alexandria, Loudoun, Mount Vernon, Fair Oaks and Fairfax areas. This is a full-time evening/overnight shift from Monday - Friday and every other weekend, between 3pm-11:30pm & 11pm-7:30am.Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Patient Registration Float Pool Job Responsibilities:

• Supports scheduling undertakings by conducting pre-service activities such as insurance verification and submission.
• Troubleshoots individual admission issues in collaboration with other departments and/or team members.
• Explains insurance benefits and patient liability by using appropriate communication methods/styles.
• Identifies and communicates payroll authorization and referral requirements.
• Manages assigned work queues to ensure that errors are corrected.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Patient Registration Float Pool Additional Requirements:

• Work schedule: Evening/Overnight shift (Monday - Friday and every other weekend, between 3pm-11:30pm & 11pm-7:30am)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2 years of healthcare patient access experience or customer service experience.
• Certification: None
