Patient Registration Rep | Clinton Township, MI | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking a Patient Services Representative for a healthcare client located in Clinton Township, MI. This is a contract position. START DATE: ASAP Walker Healthforce Standard Perks:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct bedside patient registration activities, including patient reception, check-in, preregistration, insurance eligibility confirmation, and cash collections.
• Perform new patient registration, update existing registration and insurance details, and respond to inquiries from patients, visitors, and staff.
• Serve as an advocate for callers/customers, ensuring all needs are addressed professionally.
• Provide a welcoming experience, managing patient and caller interactions effectively to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance eligibility and verification in a hospital or medical office setting
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

• EPIC software experience.
• Familiarity with insurance payor systems.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 medical terminology.
