Job Description :
Days: Monday - Friday vary depending on day. Shift will rotate between 7am - 8pm (M/T), 7 am - 5 pm (W/Th) 7am - 4pm (F). Office is open one or two Saturdays a month 7a -11a. Will only work one long day per week on a rotating M/T basis and have hours adjusted through the week to be no more than 40 hrs/wk. Must have Family Practice experience Duties:Job Summary:-Under general supervision, follows standard operating procedures and protocols for all bedside patient registration activities including patient reception, face-to-face check in, preregistration, confirmation of insurance eligibility and cash collections.-Performs new patient registration; updates registration and insurance information; responds to inquiries from all callers/customers.-Advocates on the caller/customer behalf to ensure their needs are met.-Acts as a welcoming front door for all callers/customers, instilling loyalty and anticipating needs, while providing efficient, effective customer relationship management.Education:Required Education:-High School Diploma.Preferred Education:-N/ARequired Certification & Licensure:-N/APreferred Certification & Licensure:-N/AThis is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K. Pay range: (USD)(USD)18 hrly - (USD)(USD)23 hrly.Certifications & Licenses:medical terminologySkills:Required Skills & Experience:-One (1) year of experience related to patient admitting, registration and/or insurance eligibility and verification in a hospital or medical office setting.-Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.-Ability to meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors effectively over the telephone, in person and in writing with patients, visitors and clinical/non-clinical staff.-Must be willing to be on your feet for long periods and able to instruct others.-Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.Preferred Skills & Experience:-EPIC training/experience.-Insurance payor systems experience.-ICD-10 medical terminology experience.City: Clinton TownshipSchedule:Start Date: 11/04/2024End Date: 02/01/2025Schedule Notes: Must have Family Practice experienceHours Per Week: 40.00Hours Per Day: 8.00Days Per Week: 5.00
