Patient Registration Specialist - Redlands Community Hospital : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interviewing patients of all ages for registration purposes after they have been triaged. Your accuracy and attention to detail in preparing registration forms and obtaining necessary signatures are crucial in ensuring a smooth process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews with incoming patients to gather essential information for registration.
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of registration forms.
• Obtain required signatures from patients or their representatives.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a hospital admitting or registration environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with COBRA and EMTALA laws is preferred.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association only).
• MAB certification is required within 6 months of hire.
