Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA by reviewing medical documentation
• Prepare, mail, and follow up on medical documentation requests and appeals to insurance carriers for adjudication
• Manage incoming and outgoing departmental correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate distribution
• Upload and index patient revenue documents in the RAM P8 application, and perform data entry tasks
• Assist with primary and secondary billing responsibilities, review and process charge edits from interface reports, and support ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1-2+ years of relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills
