Looking for someone with 2 years of previous on-the-job medical office experience and skills to work full-time in a medical office. The patient service representative (PSR) greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general Access call center duties.EPIC is a plus, but not required. Duties:
- Checking in/out patients
- Greet patients
- Collect co-pays
- Handle multiple tasks at a fast pace
- Verify patient insurance and information into the computer
- Scan medical cards and information into EMR
- Some insurance verifications
- Phones
- Confirming appointments
- Taking detailed messages
- Routing calls to different departments
- Other clerical duties as needed.
Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
