We currently have an open position for a Patient Service Representative. This is an hourly, non-exempt full-time position.
The Center for Family Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Jackson, Michigan. We are a multi-specialty clinic with practitioners specializingin the areas of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Ob/Gyn. Our agency has expanded greatly over the years and now has our medical, dental, pharmacy and support services as well as four school-based health centers in the Jackson area. Position Summary:
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for maintaining the front office and representing the practice with professionalism. This position requires multi-tasking effortlessly, prioritizing efficiently, handling patient requests, placing outbound calls to patients, and handling all administrative tasks with a positive attitude (to include patient check-in, check-out, receiving payments, and answering telephones).
The Patient Service Representative is expected to work in a team-based environment where the approach is a whole person care approach that engages the patient in their health care and requires all team members to be effective and supportive communicators. A high degree of integration and collaboration is required to meet the varying and changing needs of our patients.
