The Patient Service Representative will be mainly performing appointment scheduling along with other assigned duties.The scheduled hours are to be: Monday- Thursday 8:30-5 pm, and Fridays 8-4 pm.

  • Medical Office Reception
  • Promptly and professionally provide exceptional customer service via telephone, and in person greeting patients/visitors, and assist and direct them accordingly.
  • Work as a team member and ability to work individually to serve in a setting that will deliver a high level of quality care.
  • Feel comfortable answering phones and message training at high volumes
  • Appointment scheduling for OB and GYN patients
  • Cross train in variety of tasks to help maintain an efficient organizational work process for staffing needs and coverage.
  • Explain financial requirements to patients; collect and record copays as required.
  • Training will include obtaining insurance verification and benefits eligibility, precertification's for inhouse procedures and services as needed.
  • Perform registration functions for new and existing patients.
  • Schedule patient appointments per guidelines given, and finalize patient schedules for previous day.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all patients.
  • Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to either location East Brunswick and Piscataway as scheduled.
  • Mon- Fri schedule
  • No weekends

  • High School Diploma/GED is required
