DescriptionThe Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.Typical job skills include:Navigates multiple complex data systems to research and/or record patient information in person or by phone.Operates multi-line telephone systems; routes calls and responds to general inquiries.Registers patients; updates demographic and insurance information.Makes patient appointments and monitors appointment schedules daily.HOME CLINIC: We are hiring for multiple openings in primary and specialty clinics across the Portland Metro area (including Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Clark and Yamhill Counties). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview.RESOURCE/FLOAT: The Staffing Resource Department is a float pool of Patient Service Specialists which serves the PMG clinics in the Portland Metro area. You will serve patients seen in Primary Care, Pediatrics, Specialty Care and Urgent Care. We offer full and part-time availability.
