The Patient Service Specialist will:
- Demonstrate the ability to organize the office efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to a pleasant and cooperative team environment.
- Cross train in all areas of reception.
- Accurately and expeditiously register patients.
- Demonstrate the ability to respond to requests for information, both patient specific as well as practice specific.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain office equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately prepare and maintain patient charts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months' customer service/clerical experience, including computer operation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficient typing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software
