Works under the supervision of the Patient Care Director or designee. Provides escort and transport service. Performs STAT errands. Performs assigned duties to assist the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse/OR Technician. Provides for patient safety. To support and adhere to the Hospital's Mission Statement and to perform according to the Hospital's standards for customer service. Together, we help to improve the health of patients and their families, making our communities - and the world - stronger.This is a full-time position at NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital working Monday through Friday, 9am-5:30pm.Preferred Criteria 2-5 years related experience in hospital/healthcare settingPrevious patient care experience in the perioperative areaOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsCustomer Service SkillsAbility to work under stressRequired Criteria High School diploma or GED equivalentCurrent BCLS certification according to the American Heart AssociationAbility to ensure safety and comfort of patientSalary Range:$22.44-$24.70/HourlyIt all begins with you.
