Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator Location: Ocala, FL Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, Full-Time Overview: Looking for a better career opportunity? Join our team! Radiology Associates of Ocala is seeking a full-time Patient Services Coordinator to provide quality customer service in a busy outpatient imaging center. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by collecting and entering accurate demographic and insurance information into our system. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding payments from patients.
  • Cross-reference scheduled appointments with radiology orders to ensure the correct exam is performed.
  • Answer a multi-line phone system in a courteous and friendly manner, routing incoming calls to the appropriate person or department.
  • Validate insurance information and ensure pre-authorization documentation and authorization numbers are obtained and entered accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their needs and questions in a professional and friendly manner.

  • A minimum of one-year related medical office experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
  • Strong computer skills and customer service abilities are a must.
