Job Description :
Our Central Billing Office is hiring a full-time Patient Services Lead to join their team!The hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.Responsibilities:
  • Liaison with patients and inquiries for Wellness Way.
  • Assist patients with the completion of all necessary forms and documentation.
  • Reviews and updates demographic and insurance information.
  • Works at or provides coverage for the Patient Connect desk.
  • Respond to patient issues/concerns.
  • Manage multiple CBO processes.
  • Communicate as needed with Site Managers or Site Staff on Patient related issues/process.
  • Develop, document and implement process and procedure to improve workflow as needed.
  • Collect balances and post payments to practice management system.
  • Approve suitable payment plans for patients in accordance with the payment plan policy.
  • Education and training of CCP staff in relevant systems and processes related to scheduling, registration and payment collection.
  • Provide performance metrics and guidance to CCP practices to help ensure optimal productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Occasional travel to CCP practices to provide support & training.

  • Associate degree and three years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior experience of medical billing, customer service, collections and medical insurance plans including three years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy, attention to detail and follow through.

  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional clerical and administrative abilities, including proficiency in managing documents, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Skilled in using computer programs and applications.
