Azalea Orthopedics is looking for a Patient Services Representative to check-in and check-out patients at our Nacogdoches office. The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in a busy environment, and enjoy learning new things. No experience required but preferred. Main duties include:
- Greeting patient and gathering all demographic information
- Asking patient to complete any necessary paperwork
- Scanning ID and insurance cards, entering insurance information into account
- Checking patients in accurately and in a timely manner
- Collecting co-payments or previous balances and setting patients up with a financial counselor when necessary
- Communicating with patients with the utmost patience and empathy
- Preparing paperwork and reviewing schedules in preparation for the next day
- Communicating issues and questions to management when appropriate
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Learning and keeping current on insurance company requirements, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance
- Insurance eligibility checks
- Answering Multiple line phone system
