Ensures all patient health information is accurately scanned and filed into EHR. Ensures confidentiality and integrity of medical records. Performs prior authorizations, pre-certifications and benefits investigations#prior to procedure.# Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent required Health information experience preferred Computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook#and the ability to learn health information systems Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding preferred Demonstrates effective oral # written communication skills Demonstrates knowledge of physician office activities Demonstrates ability to use office equipment Maintain BLS certification Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Knowledge of documentation systems
