Home Health Patient Support Representative Wage: $20-$25 an hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMJOB SUMMARYThe Patient Support Representative (PSR) will work in conjunction with the Community Liaison in all aspects of marketing and sales, including establishing, maintaining, and cultivating positive referral source relationships to achieve budgeted admissions and census.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES•Work in conjunction with Community Liaison(s) on Quarterly Strategic Plans that will drive successful, specific outcomes•Work under current Community Liaison(s) to relieve certain tasks that will allow the Community Liaison to continue to grow and develop new and existing accounts•Assist on strategic accounts to provide consistent warm hand-offs and collection of clean and accurate paperwork•Clinically review patients on hospital platforms, determine if patient will be accepted and turn in referral to intake•Submit patients for clinical review prior to accepting, if necessary•The PSR program will support a predicted growth rate of 15%•Coordinate, prepare and provide educational materials in support of the Community Liaison•Represent Signature Healthcare at Home at business and community marketing and networking events.•Meet daily with Community Liaison to keep abreast on current duties, events and any needs that may arise•Make joint, specific calls on key customers with Community Liaison•Provide periodic updates and presentations on current accounts•Make recommendations to current Signature programs for providing better patient outcomes•Submit all required documents and paperwork timely•Take calls after hours and on weekends, if needed•Occasional support of in-take role and serve as potential back up for PTOJOB REQUIREMENTS•Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.•Healthcare marketing experience, preferably in hospice, home health and home care operations.•Ability to deal tactfully with customers and the community.•Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.•Demonstrate upward mobility and the desire to be part of a mentoring program.•Ability to manage payer mix of patients.•Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.•Demonstrates autonomy, organization, efficient time & territory management, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.•Efficient time management and territory management skills.•Possess strong computer skills and knowledge of office technology - e.g. email and internet services, facsimile machines, telecommunication devices, etc.The employer for this position is stated in the job posting.
