Patient Transport (Evening Shift) - Louisiana Children's Medical Center - LCMC Health : Job Details

Your job is more than a job. The Patient Transporter is responsible for coordinating with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to take patients from their rooms to various locations throughout the hospital. This can include helping patients in and out of bed, or using wheelchairs or stretchers to move them from the emergency room to a room, from a location to a treatment area or other locations, and performing other related tasks according to the established policies of LCMC Health. Maintains logs of time sensitive specimens and supplies between facilities, medical centers, physician practices, buildings, and remote areas as necessary according to established schedules. Your every day Responsible for maintaining patient safety at all times while in the company of the patient:Safely and professionally transports patient without incident to units, testing areas, and area on campus.
