For a complete description of our benefits for this position, click here.$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine MONTLAKE – RADIOLOGY SUPPORT (DNS) has an outstanding job opportunity for a PATIENT TRANSPORTER / Hospital Assistant position.WORK SCHEDULE50% FTE (20 hours per week)3:00pm-11:00pmEvening Shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONRadiology at Montlake provides diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services to Montlake's patients and providersThrough our various services and locations we touch almost every patient at some point in their care continuumOur faculty, technical and support staff are dedicated to providing the absolute best care and service possible PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESTransportation of patients, supplies, and specimensTransports patients via gurney, wheelchair and bed to ancillary departmentsOrdering and stocking of suppliesMaintain / set up of special equipmentParticipate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication REQUIREMENTSValid Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of WashingtonHigh school diploma or GED equivalentSix months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experienceValid American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
