Previous hospital experience preferred.* Transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher, to appointments, procedures, therapy sessions, and group activities.* Assists with meal services on the nursing units as directed.* Operates elevators for use by patients (as applicable).* Distributes mail, flowers and packages to patients.* Transports specimens as needed.* Reports changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinician.* Assists with ADLs and rehabilitation techniques on the nursing unit to maximize patient recovery.* Performs other duties as requested.QualificationsOne or more years hospital experience preferred.Additional DataSelect Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal opportunity employer.
