Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED – Highly Desired but not required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Knowledge of inter-hospital transportation or experience in a hospital setting
• Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary
• Electronics skills including use of computer and hand held devices are required
• Close mental and visual attention required due to variable patient conditions
• Good listening skills
• Ability to interact appropriately with a diverse population of customers.

Job Description The Patient Transporter is responsible for facilitating the movement of patients and equipment within the Department, Nursing Units and other areas throughout the Hospital Center.
