POSITION SUMMARY The Dispatcher is the point of contact for all on-hill operations and a member of the Patrol Team. This team member will ensure smooth on-time opening/closing of the resort and keep key personnel within the resort informed of progress and anticipated delays. This is a seasonal position, with full-time and part-time opportunities available. This position pays $24.00/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Record trail openings and closings
- Coordinate and record patroller and equipment response to on hill incidents
- Coordinate EMS response on the resort and surrounding communities
- Records and announces all lift openings, closings, delays and service interruptions
- Coordinate and communicate information that impacts on-hill operations
- Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous dispatch experience preferred
- Previous snowmobile operation required
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Must be 18+ years of age
- Valid Driver's License required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal, written and radio communication skills
- Familiarity with, or willingness to gain a greater knowledge of, Stratton's trails, lifts, and mountain operations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in stressful situations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
