Payment Posting Specialist - Doctors of Physical Therapy : Job Details

DescriptionDoctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Payment Posting Specialist.We are looking for a reliable and professional member of our team that is looking for longevity with a growing company. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.Experience and Skills:**

• A strong work ethic and reliability are a must
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills required
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word.
• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
• Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5pmDuties included but not limited to:

• Allocating insurance payments to patients claims
• Allocating patient payments to accounts
• Processing credit card payments accordingly.
• Reconciliation of payments day to day, month-end.
• Troubleshooting incorrect payments and assigning to AR team.
• Troubleshooting payment errors and make corrections
• Field inbound patient calls
• Supporting other team members
• Other tasks assigned by Billing Supervisor or Manager
