Payment Posting Specialist - Medical Billing - Wayfinder RCM : Job Details

This key position ensures that payments received from insurance companies and patients are tracked and reported accurately. • Perform detailed tracking and posting of client cash receipts from insurance payers and patients
• Navigate multiple remittance sources to ensure complete capture of cash receipts, including electronic remittance files, payment portals and lockboxes.
• Reconcile and balance transactions to ensure accurate reporting
• Communicate internally and externally regarding payment transaction discrepancies and refunds.
• Research missing payment information to support the Claim Optimization team

• Ability to confidently manage a high transaction volume with outstanding accuracy and attention to detail

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of one year working in medical billing, coding, or related healthcare position. Preference given to candidates with previous cash posting or third party payer posting experience.
• Experience with AdvancedMD, Nextech, ModMed, Kareo, or Athena a plus!
• Strong computer skills, comfortable with new technology
