Payoff & Reinstatement Specialist Job ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Payoff and Reinstatement Specialist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with an energized team. The Payoff and Reinstatement Specialist for this position will have excellent communication, organizational, and people skills. The Payoff and Reinstatement Specialist will be a self-motivator, someone who works well with little supervision.The responsibilities for a Payoff and Reinstatement Specialist include, but are not limited to:
  • Accurately prepare quotes for a loan payoff or reinstatement in a timely manner.
  • Manage daily workloads through various website portals.
  • Timely respond to internal and external emails, telephone calls, and facsimiles.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, title companies, attorneys, and borrowers.
  • Process fees and costs requests.
  • Maintain internal case management systems to reflect workload tracking and reporting.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to draft, edit, and review documents using MS Office products, e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe or Foxit.
  • Ability to organize, flag, prioritize, and manage a large volume of electronic and telephonic communications.
  • BKFS, CaseAware and TEMPO experience preferred, but not required.
  • Enjoys working with numeric figures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Overall good attitude and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities.
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and some college -level courses successfully completed. Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience working in accounting, preferably within a law firm.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
