Job Position: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the Giltner family of companies. We are a quickly growing organization and we utilize modern technology to keep a driving edge in today's economy.
Payroll Administrator Responsibilities
* Handle daily payroll department operations, including collecting and verifying timekeeping information and processing payroll
* Maintain accurate payroll records including required payroll garnishments
* Reconcile bank statements
* Understanding of payroll taxes and withholdings
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Manage employee benefits
* Responds to payroll and benefit related inquiries and resolving concerns
* Ensure that employee payroll processing is compliant with Federal and State laws
* Manage salary changes, deductions, bonuses, PTO payouts
* Assist with the onboarding of new employees
* Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping all private information confidential
* Other duties as assigned by management
Payroll Administrator Qualifications
* Experience with QuickBooks required
* Accounting/payroll experience is a plus
* Strong proficiency in Excel and Word
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and excellent people skills
* Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
* High School Diploma or equivalent
