The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Team Member payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing, administering benefits, and providing excellent support to Drexel Team Members.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all Team Members, including hourly and salaried Team Members.
- Calculate and process all payroll deductions, including taxes (federal & state), health insurance, garnishments, child support, 401(k) contributions, and other voluntary deductions.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of all payroll taxes and other required withholdings.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits processes.
- Maintain accurate Team Member payroll records, including time and attendance records, personnel files, and tax forms (W-2, W-4, I-9).
- Respond to Team Member inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Assist Team Members with claims processing and resolve any benefit-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of Team Member benefit enrollments and claims.
- Administer Team Member benefit programs, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations for all Team Member benefit plans.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Team Members regarding their benefit options.
- Maintain confidentiality of all team member information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and accuracy skills
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
