Our client, a prominent public health organization in NYC, is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage benefits, process payroll, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be an expert in payroll systems, handling employee records, and providing excellent service to employees. They are currently seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage employee benefits programs, ensure accurate payroll processing, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Description Manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, life insurance, and retirement plans. Assist with new employee orientations and provide ongoing benefits support to employees. Act as a liaison with insurance providers and resolve benefit-related issues. Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate employee records related to payroll and benefits. Track timesheets, leave balances, and assist employees with related inquiries. Prepare reports related to benefits and payroll, supporting management in decision-making. Assist with benefits enrollment, open enrollment meetings, and the renewal process. Profile Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration. Expert knowledge of payroll systems and regulations is required. Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Job Offer Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000 Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement plan options. Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office.
