Desired 1.Prior payroll processing experience. 2.Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax 3.Knowledge of prevailing wage/inflation reduction act. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage and other deductions.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and nontaxable wages.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Prepares daily, weekly and monthly payroll reports for company management.
