Titan America has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Associate to join the Employee Services department at our Corporate Center in Norfolk, VA. This salary non-exempt position will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the processing of the weekly hourly and semi-monthly salary payrolls. This position is very deadline driven and operates in a fast-paced environment. Some overtime may be required.

• Review of Dimensions time records and correction of any errors
• Support and answer questions from supervisors and HR
• Process payroll from start to finish
• Processing of child support orders and other wage attachments
• Research general ledger questions/issues regarding payroll entries
• Provide service and support to employees related to payroll questions / issues
• Payment of union dues and other employee deductions
• Research system issues (Dimensions and UKG Pro) for payroll errors
• Reconcile pay cycles

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience
• Understand federal, state, and local wage and hour policies and employment tax laws
• Proficient in multi-state processing
• Must be able to handle information with high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time constraints supporting diverse groups of internal customers
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
• Keen eye for details
• Excellent Excel and Adobe skills
• FPC or CPP Certification is a plus
• Experience with Dimensions and UKG Pro is a plus
