Position assists in the development and implementation of policies along with compliance with applicable local, State, and Federal employment laws.This position will work closely with P&C team members and colleagues on transactional activities. The role will serve as a coordinator in Payroll, On-Boarding, Training, and P&C activities globally and regionally.What will you do?
- Performs benefits administration, processing health benefits, and communicating benefits information to colleagues.
- Explains and resolves benefit details, issues, and inquiries from plan participants.
- Audits employee benefit enrollment for accuracy and conducts premium reconciliation.
- Processes payroll and manage payroll related activities.
- Reviews time and labor daily and updates employee records
- Administers the company plan and processes all reimbursements.
- Onboards new hires and conducts new-employee orientations.
- Manages the pre-employment process.
- Organizes company-wide events, coordinates staff meetings, and employee events.
- Maintains the company organizational charts and the employee directory.
- Handles employee relations; counseling, and the outplacement process.
- Maintains the human resource systems and employee records.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Works collaboratively with the P&C team on special projects and open enrollment activities.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
What You'll Need?
- Working knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration including employment laws and their application, especially Title VII, FMLA, FCA, FLSA, ADA, ERISA, HIPPA.
- Technologically astute and experience with HRIS systems to support the business.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong follow-through on projects and deliverables.
- Takes initiative in development and completion of projects.
- Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of employees in the organization.
- 1-2+ years of HR, Payroll and/or Benefits administration.
- Some experience in On-Boarding.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business administration, or related field.
