Payroll Clerk - Inceed : Job Details

Payroll/Settlement Specialist Compensation: $18-$20 hourly ($37,500-$50,000 salary) Location: Muskogee, OK (direct, full-time) Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll/Settlement Specialist to join their team! Responsibilities:

• Entering and updating data in computer systems.
• Collecting employment, compensation, benefit, and tax documentation.
• Completing background and reference checks.
• Maintaining personnel files and related records.
• Conducting payroll and benefits, as well as tax-related reconciliations.
• Interacting with new and existing employees.
• Assisting with organizational duties and coordinating tasks to ensure deadlines are met promptly for several coworkers.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of Payroll experience
• Previous experience in timeclock calculation/tracking + payroll tax calculations/reporting + unemployment benefits/taxes
• Previous experience in benefits coordination/reconciliation or dealt with reporting wages to government agencies or w/c.
• Experience in general ledger balancing and benefit invoices to balance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Committed to maintaining confidentiality for sensitive information.
• Meticulous in handling company funds and employee/contractor compensation.
• Skilled in following instructions and problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Effective at prioritizing and planning work activities for efficient time management.
• Detail-oriented, organized, accurate, and thorough.
• Key character traits include professionalism, approachability, dependability, responsiveness, and composure.

Other Details:

• Our client has $1M worth of payroll per week so this person needs to have some accounting education or previous accounting/payroll experience.
