Payroll Clerk - Haystack Consultants : Job Details

Overview:Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join a successful and established company in south Fresno. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in payroll processing and solid QuickBooks skills. This role requires good organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.The company has been in business for over 30 years. A retirement plan, vacation time, and holiday pay are also in place.Responsibilities:- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely- Calculate wages, deductions and withholdings- Prepare reports for management as needed- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll questions- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, time off, and benefitsSkills:- Proficiency in QuickBooks software- Prior experience in payroll processing- Knowledge of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry- Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are preferredIf interested and qualified, please apply directly to this position.
