As a growing business, we are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team and play a key role in ensuring that our employees are paid accurately and on time.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to manage all payroll-related tasks for our dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience working in payroll, preferably in an automotive or retail setting, and will be committed to accuracy and confidentiality. You will work closely with HR and accounting departments to ensure that all payroll activities are executed smoothly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including sales staff, technicians, and administrative personnel.
• Ensure accurate calculation of employee wages, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, overtime, and paid time off (PTO).
• Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file payroll taxes, including withholding and employer contributions.
• Assist with reporting and data entry for HR and accounting purposes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
• Support the Finance and HR departments with other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in payroll or accounting.
• Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.
• Knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
