Description: The Payroll Clerk (Nutrition) reviews and ensures theaccuracy and completeness of personnel data, time, and attendance information on payroll records for the Nutrition department. Also provides payroll customer service to all assigned personnel.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Reviews and verifies time reports submitted for pay
- Inputs time and attendance information and calculates pay
- Reviews all payroll entries and calculations for accuracy; corrects errors, if necessary
- Maintains payroll records
- Provides customer service to all assigned personnel
- Creates necessary reports for time and attendance to track employee absenteeism
- Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours, and as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Banking
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proficient in payroll software and data entry
- Attention to detail, accuracy in calculations
- Knowledge of relevant payroll laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong organizational skills
