Payroll Manager - Beacon Mobility : Job Details

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day payroll operations to deliver payroll timely and accurately in compliance with Federal and state laws

* Manage the payroll processing for multi-state employees (salary and hourly employees)

* Understand payroll strategies and deliver recommendations for improving payroll processes

* Ensure internal controls are implemented, operational, documented and monitored

* Attention to detail with accuracy and ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality work

* Process disbursements by initiating wire transfers, electronic payments, and manual checks

* Manage the timely resolution of customer issues including handling customer escalations, perform and document

* Root cause Analysis and implement remedial procedures to close gaps identified

* Work cross-functionally with Accounting/Finance, IT, Legal and Operations teams for items related to payroll, payroll taxes, W2, state registrations, and compliance

Requirements

* 5+ years experience in Payroll

* Workday Payroll system experience preferred

* Hands-on mentality, self-motivated and detail-oriented

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Able to lead and be effective in a hybrid workplace
