Pursue a career with a manufacturing company based in Ballston Spa, NY as a Payroll/Office Administrator! Join a growing team and expand your payroll/HR skillset! What you should know:Location: Ballston Spa, NYDirect Hire OR Temp-HirePay: $50-$60k (DOE)Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pmWhat you need to apply:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years processing full cycle payroll (70-80 employees)
  • Preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Preferred experience with onboarding/benefits/HR

Payroll/HR

  • Process Bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintain all personnel and Human Resources records as required
    • enter new hires into ADP, maintains the master employee listing.
  • Perform onboarding functions for new hires, including benefits, time clock setup, etc.
  • Set up New Hires for ADP Mobile App and show them how to request time off.
  • Enter the employee benefits enrollments into carriers' portals and ensure deductions are set up in ADP.
  • Manage emergency contact document.
  • Reconcile the insurance billings to ensure that all enrollments and terminations are accounted for as well as the payroll deductions.
  • Process Terminated employees to receive COBRA paperwork.
  • Download payroll invoices (tax related) and Quarterly reports.
  • Reviews expense reports as needed.
  • Maintains the potential employee interview spreadsheet, files. To include setting up interviews.
  • Process the PFL/DBL/FMLA paperwork to be reviewed by HR, submit to the appropriate carrier.
  • Review training certificates prepared by the trainer, save to employee file and update ADP.
Office Administrator
  • Order supplies as needed.
  • Answers the door and welcomes visitors, suppliers, customers to the office.
  • Assist with setting up breakfast/lunch for visitors.
  • Organizes birthday celebrations and assists with the annual picnic.
  • Daily restocking of coffee items in the kitchen.
  • Call on emptying of dumpster weekly (per Production).
  • Meter readings for Client machine/Frank.
  • Scan/copy documents as needed.
