Payroll Processor - POHANKA AUTOMOTIVE GROUP : Job Details

SUMMARY

Pohanka Automotive Group is looking for a Payroll Processor to join our busy and friendly HR/Payroll Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with an anticipated work schedule of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in Chantilly, VA. Due to the nature of our industry, this is an IN-PERSON role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, review payroll; ensure the accuracy and timely processing of weekly payroll
• Perform data entry of all payroll-related changes in ADP including updating employee personal information, changes in tax exemptions, insurance deductions, etc.
• New hires input, department/dealership transfers, and termination process
• Conduct new hire drug testing and background screening
• Monitor payroll deduction tracking of garnishments, tax liens, and corresponding accounting schedules
• Assist employees with all company benefits, explain, enroll, terminate as per plan policy
• Assist employees with payroll questions and concerns
• Operate all tasks within the department with the highest degree of confidentiality

PREFFERED SKILLS

• Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance
• Automotive payroll experience is very helpful
• Must be detail oriented and very organized
• Strong communication skills and follow through
• Desire to learn and grow
