This job was posted by : For more information, please see: primary duties of the Payroll Specialist/Human Resources Assistant are to process payroll for the College, which includes: verifying the accuracy of payroll data input, calculate and reconcile payroll balances based on changes in employee status, such as promotions, demotions, or other salary transactions, processing the payroll, completing payroll reports and entering benefit data in related systems, processing W2s, and other related payroll activities.While the primary duties of this position are related to payroll, the person filling this position will also have duties related to human resources, such as completing human resources related reports, developing and processing yearly full-time contracts and other human resources related tasks that may occur annually or on an as needed basis.
