Job Summary: Under the leadership of the National Payroll & Benefits Director, the Payroll Specialist will support all activities related to US payroll processing, maintenance, and delivery. This role is accountable to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality business outcomes. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day functions of the payroll department under general guidance.
  • Review and audit the Time & Attendance system to ensure accurate payroll information flow.
  • Actively communicate with employees and supervisors to ensure the completion of payroll-related tasks.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy.
  • Support Payroll Leadership with monthly reporting for Finance & Accounting.
  • Ensure new hire documentation and entries are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation for final paychecks.
  • Accurately update and enter manual checks on the manual check log.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Minimum of 3 years of end-to-end payroll, human resources, or accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to work across functions and organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of enterprise payroll systems, such as iSolved, Paychex, Employee Navigator, Synuity, ADP, and TimeCo.
