PAYROLL SPECIALIST - Clarvida - Virginia : Job Details

Description Position at Clarvida - Virginia About Your Role:As a Payroll Specialist, you will process nonexempt and exempt payrolls. Responsible for all data entry pertaining to production of payroll using ADP and Excel spreadsheets. Input is done within allfederal and state payroll laws. Conducts accuracy checks on payroll information. Mails or delivers checks from ADP to employees. Produce applicable payroll reports as requested and necessary. Garnishment processing. This position receives, reviews, and resolves all questions (for responsible entities) concerning such input with consultation by the Payroll Leads and/or Director.Perks of this role:

• Competitive pay starting from $19.00/hour

Does the following apply to you?

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years' experience in payroll
• Proven advanced ability with Excel

Preferred qualifications:

• Some college (preferably in business or accounting)
• Knowledge of ADP
• Proficient with 10-key calculator
• Understanding of overtime
• Understanding of Payroll Laws per State and Federal guidelines
