Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist
- Process funding of all payroll including staff bonuses, commissions, new hires, absences, and terminations on a weekly basis
- Ensure compliance of payroll with company's wages and policies, payroll principles, and withholding regulations within different states policies
- Compliance with audit requirements for controls and financial accuracy.
- Prepare audit support and work directly with company's external auditors
- Reconciling payroll accounts
- Processing payroll taxes
- Assisting with HR with onboarding paper work and new hire orientations
