Job SummaryForest City Trading Group (FCTG), LLC is seeking a part-time (20 hours) Payroll Specialist in our corporate headquarters in Tigard, OR. You will be responsible for managing payroll for our corporate office employees and supporting 11 operating companies with both exempt and non-exempt employees. The role involves processing regular payroll, handling commissions, bonuses, scholarships and taxable fringe benefits and requires familiarity with 401(k) and HSA benefits in relation to earnings and deductions. This position demands effective deadline management and strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, making it an essential role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.This position is classified a non-exempt temporary and reports to the Vice President of HR. Expected duration: 6 monthsDuties and Responsibilities:

• Process full cycle payroll operations related to exempt and non-exempt employees with a high level of accuracy, including compensation, commissions, bonus payments, benefit deductions, new hires & terminations.
• Primary contact for all payroll related support and administration
• Review hours, pay data, research payroll issues/discrepancies and process necessary corrections
• Ensure taxes, garnishments, deductions, and employee changes are accurate and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Transmit on time withheld deductions (401k & HSA) & Workers Compensation payments.
• Download and save payroll reports
• Other payroll projects assigned such as bonuses, scholarships, taxable fringe benefits, commissions
• Knowledge of benefits related to payroll deductions and earnings.
• Support answering general employee questions about payroll and benefits

Education and/or Experience: 3-5 years payroll processing experienceAssociates Degree Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Multi-state payroll experience
• iSolved payroll system preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of payroll taxes
• Commission payroll experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of business via phone, written communication and in person
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
