For further information, please see the Company's website, www.nationalmaterial.com.The Inside Sales Representative will own the order process from conception to completion as well as provide continuous customer engagement through timely follow up and execution.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assigned as the key contact to specific customers in support of management and outside sales.
• Continually update customers, sales and plants on status of plant workload & schedules, inventory levels, market conditions, pricing and deliveries.
• Handle customer questions and ensure timely follow through to provide world-class service to NMP's customers.
• Enter sales orders from customers and manage the requirements of the orders from inception to eventual shipment and completion.
• Builds and maintains good customer relationships.
• Work collaboratively with all NMP departments to successfully manage customer supply chain.
• Study and report market conditions and NMP's progress on measurable objectives during daily performance board meetings.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred not required.
• Minimum of 1 year sales or customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
• Experience working with ERP systems a plus
• Experience in steel industry a plus, but not required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively in decentralized operating environment.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-past, deadline-oriented environment.
• Demonstrate solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
