We are seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to join our dedicated team. As a Personal Care Aide / CNA / Caregiver at Always Best Care Senior Services you will have the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and enabling themto maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients in mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Administer medications based on the care plan and under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, tidying up, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship, fostering emotional well-being and social interaction.
- Document care provided, changes in clients' conditions, and any incidents or concerns promptly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the care team and the client's family to ensure the best possible care and support.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a similar caregiving role preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from supervisors effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to adapt to varying client needs and work in different home environments.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
