PE Electrical Engineer - Onin Staffing : Job Details

Onin Staffing is seeking a PE Licensed Electrical Engineer for a manufacturing company in the Bessemer area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineers, Revit/CAD operators, and Production staff to complete projects on schedule.
• Ensure electrical designs meet specifications and code requirements.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Review and refine designs using Revit/CAD software.
• Maintain attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Hands-on electrical experience is a plus.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support Production.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) License in Alabama
• 4+ years of electrical design experience
• Proficiency in designing and troubleshooting both simple and complex electrical systems
• Expertise in industrial/commercial electrical design for AC/DC systems supporting protective relays and/or communication equipment
• Knowledge of protective relaying schematics and experience with control building or communication shelter design
• Ability to interpret project specifications and deliver compliant design packages, including accurate bills of materials and technical drawings
• Skilled in performing design quality reviews with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience drafting electrical designs
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team collaboration
