Are you an experienced HR Generalist looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the biotech industry? Our client, an innovative and growing biotech company in San Diego, is seeking a skilled HR professional to support key HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and compliance. This role is fully on-site, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted HR partner, providing guidance on policies, employee relations, and best practices.
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees have access to the resources they need.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist in performance management initiatives and employee development programs.
- Maintain HRIS records and generate reports as needed.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Prior experience in biotech, life sciences, or a related industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.
